Chivas Guadalajara have blasted Atletico Madrid after their offer for youngster Carlos Plascencia was thrown out by the Mexican giants.

"The proposal Atletico sent us was ridiculous, laughable. We sent a counter proposal and we are waiting because they have not answered," said Chivas vice-president, Nestor de la Torre.

Plascencia, 14, was spotted by Atletico scouts this year starring for Mexico U15.
