Chile management blast Man City and goalkeeper Claudio Bravo

Chile management are upset with Manchester City and goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

Bravo is currently out injured after rupturing his Achilles back in August.

Medics have slammed the Premier League champions this week, claiming they have not given the national team any reports or information on Bravo's injury.

“We have not had contact with Claudio," doctor Fernando Radice told Radio Agricultura.

“I know that he has been evolving very well and that he is training specifically, but the official reports, that we have asked Manchester City for as the medical team of the national team, have not had the answer nor the flow of before.

"We are with parallel but unofficial information. One thing is to train and another is to have match rhythm."

Another of Chile's staff, goalkeeper coach Alex Whiteley, has also fallen out with the City stopper in recent months after comments he made regarding the team's coaches.

"For me it was clearly due to a lack of communication," he told El Mercurio. "Bravo's statements were unfortunate and he has to admit it.

"Basically, he had some reasons, but he was wrong in the way of doing it. There is a pending issue, but I hope and wish that Claudio could return to the team.

“It was a hot statement, he always told me he was happy with my work.

"He told me he never named me and has nothing against me."
