Bolton Wanderers striker Ivan Klasnic is facing the spotlight over claims he spat at Chelsea and England captain John Terry.

Klasnic, who is on loan at the Reebok Stadium from French club Nantes, was a 73rd-minute substitute for Eduardo, who had scored the consolation in the 5-1 victory for England.

"It's not a nice situation," Terry said. "He came on frustrated. He is the first person who has ever spat at me.

"It's one of those things but let's not let it ruin a massive night for us."
