Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard insists Arsenal remain a major title threat.

He told The Sun: "It would be silly to rule out Arsenal at this stage even though they are a few points behind. They are a great footballing team.

"For me at the start of the season Manchester United were the main contenders.

"I think at the moment it's between the big four but who knows, there are so many critical periods of the season coming up. It'll be the team who can keep winning over those times and win the big games against each other.

So Sunday against Liverpool will be a great marker for both of us to try and prove we can open a bit of daylight at the top."
