Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien refuses to apologise for his heavy challenge on Everton's Leon Osman during Sunday's 1-1 draw.
The Daily Mail says the Ghana star is disappointed with the post-match reaction to the tackle and believes he did nothing wrong, although it did earn him a booking during the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Tim Cahill asked Essien to say sorry and claims he is getting a reputation for "dodgy" challenges.
He said: "I didn't really see it but I heard the crunch. If he has gone a bit high - he is known for a few dodgy tackles - I think he will know it and apologise."
