Lewis Baker and Demarai Gray were on target as the England U21 side clinched a last-minute 3-2 win over their Italian counterparts on Thursday.
Leicester City winger Gray opened the scoring in the sixth minute, but by the 28th minute, the Azzurri were in the lead through an own goal by Brendan Galloway and a close-range finish from Federico Di Francesco.
The Young Lions had to wait until the 60th minute before Chelsea's Baker, on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, put them level on the scoresheet.
In the 93rd minute of the game, Southampton defender Jack Stephens put home the rebound after Calum Chambers' header was saved to win the game for his side.
