Chelsea winger Pedro does not want to participate in the remainder of the Premier League season.

The Spaniard is out of contract this summer and has agreed a deal with AS Roma in Italy.

He has been with Chelsea since 2015, and does not want to jeopardise his next contract.

The Telegraph reports that Pedro has a two year agreement with an option for a third.

That deal could be scuppered if he gets injured in the remainder of the matches.

Pedro knows he may only have one major transfer left at 32 years of age.

And Chelsea have a similar headache with Willian, who may be headed down the same path as Pedro.
