Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has spent the last three months away from the club.
The youngster went to Bayer Leverkusen on loan in August to seek regular first team football.
The 22-year-old has played nine Bundesliga appearances and six Champions League matches for Leverkusen.
He has helped usher in improved results since Xabi Alonso took over as manager in October.
“We assumed that Callum would stay, but now we also have the certainty that he will stay with us," Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes said to German publication Bild. “We're happy about that, because he's a very important player for us."
