Chelsea willing to sell senior trio in January

Chelsea are willing to sell Olivier Giroud in January.

The Telegraph says Giroud, Pedro and Marcos Alonso could all be up for grabs if the Blues receive worthwhile bids for the experienced trio.

Giroud and Pedro's contracts both expire next summer and will be allowed to begin negotiations with foreign clubs in January.

But, following the emergence of Tammy Abraham as a first-choice striker, it is claimed Chelsea will be willing to offload the Frenchman in January so they can recoup some money for him, rather than letting him leave on a free.

Giroud has fallen down the pecking order since manager Frank Lampard arrived in the summer. He has started just one competitive match this season and wants regular football to give himself a chance of playing for France at Euro 2020.
