Chelsea have confirmed that they will make an announcement on Didier Drogba when they are ready.
The Ivory Coast striker has been heavily linked with a summer departure from the newly-crowned European champions with chief executive Ron Gourlay non-committal regarding his future but saying something will soon be sorted.
"Didier has made it clear that he loves Chelsea and has loved everything he has achieved here, this was the icing on the cake for him and for everybody else.
"When we are already to make an announcement then we will do in the future.""Conversations with Didier have been going on for months now and they're still on-going," he told Sky Sports News.
