Chelsea watching Torino defender Alessandro Buongiorno

Chelsea are watching Torino defender Alessandro Buongiorno.

The Sun says Chelsea's scouts have been watching Buongiorno in recent weeks.

Toro president Urbano Cairo has already rejected a proposal from Italy worth €25m, convinced that an offer worth around €40m could arrive from the Premier League next month.

Buongiorno's contract will expire in 2028 and there is no rush to sell him for the Piedmontese club.

But Chelsea, who appreciate his versatility and his ability with the ball at his feet, are watching closely.
