Chelsea are in the market for a young defensive midfielder this summer.
The Blues haven't dropped their interest in Southampton youngster Romeo Lavia, having failed with a £50m-plus bid for the Belgian last summer, just weeks after his move from Manchester City.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting Lavia is on their radar.
And Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone is another target being discussed inside Chelsea.
Chelsea are monitoring both and are open about making a move in the summer.
