Chelsea are favourites should Marcos Asensio push to leave Real Madrid, it has been revealed.

Asensio, 21, has concerns about his playing chances at Real after again starting the derby at Atletico Madrid on the bench.

Don Balon says the winger has already expressed his frustration to president Florentino Perez. Asensio has stood up to Perez and told him he will move to Chelsea if he isn't given more opportunities to shine.

The forward had a magnificent start to the season, netting twice in the Spanish Super Cup win over Barcelona.

But since then he has found his chances limited and has had to make do with a place on the bench more often than not.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have already made an attempt for Asensio over the summer and are watching developments closely.
