Chelsea had scouts in Norway last night to check on Brann midfielder Erik Huseklepp.

Representatives from Chelsea were monitoring the 24-year-old Brann midfielder in action during the World Cup qualifier against Scotland.

However the Barclays Premier League contenders face competition from Aston Villa and Championship side Newcastle who are also keen on the exciting star, who has scored five goals in his last six games.
