Chelsea U21 striker Stutter: Sterling an inspiration

Chelsea Under-21s' current top scorer Ronnie Stutter is enjoying himself so far this term.

The forward admits that he has been gaining a great deal from training with the first team.

Stutter believes that working alongside the likes of Raheem Sterling is showing him how to improve his own game.

He stated on his improvement to club media: “I think the psychological side of my game has improved.

“The willingness to keep powering on and making those runs, combined with the hunger to win games, has become a pivotal part of my approach. I want to be the best possible player I can be.

“As a striker, you need to score goals and everyone knows that goals win games and help the team. I see it as my responsibility to try and not only score goals but also create opportunities for my teammates."

He then added on Sterling: “There's a level of intensity that is expected at this level of the game, and you simply cannot afford to slack off.

“Raheem's game is so complete. The way he takes on defenders, protects the ball and his quick decision-making are all great things to see. I watched him closely and there are definitely things that I want to add to my game."
