Chelsea have rejected Borussia Monchengladbach's £14.5million bid for Andreas Christensen, according to reports from the Daily Star.

Christensen joined Monchengladbach on a two-year loan deal last summer and with the youngster having impressed last season, the German side were keen on signing him on a permanent basis.

Recently, claims were made that Monchengladbach had placed a bid in the region of around £14.5m for Christensen but reports suggest that Chelsea have rejected the offer and are not willing to part with the Dane on a permanent basis.
