Chelsea are threatening Liverpool plans for Dulwich Hamlet striker Daniel Carr.

The Daily Mail says the Anfield club had invited 18-year-old Carr for trials.

However, the Stamford Bridge club have now made their move to land Carr.

The current Champions League holders have spoken directly with officials from the Ryman Division One South club about inviting Carr to train with the Blues.

Carr was said to be flattered by the high-profile interest in him, but had not made a definitive decision on his future.
