Chelsea are apparently preparing a £50million bid for the 24 year old, more than double the reported £20million that Liverpool spent on the Spanish striker just over a year ago.
They are not the only club interested in prising Torres away from the Kop, however, as Barcelona are also thought to hold an interest in the Spanish international and could be ready to offer players and cash in exchange for his services.
"I am enjoying my time at Liverpool, although I would prefer to forget the transfer talk for now and concentrate on Euro 2008, which is my primary concern at the moment," he told Marca.
"I will go away on holiday once the tournament has finished and will then return to Liverpool."
