Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is set for wrist surgery.

Jackson has on has withdrawn from the Senegal squad in order to have the operation.

Senegal confirmed Jackson has not joined up with the squad ahead of the friendly in France on October 16.

The striker has been seen wearing a splint in recent weeks.

Jackson suffered the injury prior to Chelsea's Carabao Cup win against Brighton.
