Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is delighted with his move to Valencia.
The Belgium international has joined Los Che on a season-long loan.
Valencia president Anil Murthy declared today: "Batshuayi wanted to be in Paterna and he has already trained this morning, I am happy because of the experience he brings to us."
Batshuayi said: "It is true that I had other options, but I spoke with the coach and he convinced me to come to Valencia.
"Mestalla is magnificent. Valencia has a fantastic fanbase and its players are very good, with great quality. For me it will be great to share a team with Rodrigo.
"What has convinced me is that Valencia is very competitive, fighting against the big clubs and playing the Champions League. But what convinced me was the conversation I had with Marcelino. I am human and that was key."
