Chelsea are closing on a deal for AS Monaco defender Benot Badiashile.
The Athletic says terms over a fee for the France international are close to being struck.
Chelsea expect to pay €37-38m for the stopper.
Personal terms with Badiashile have already been reached and a medical is being scheduled this week in London.
With Monaco, Badiashile has a contract to 2024.
