Chelsea fullback Ashley Cole has joined Twitter.

Cole joined Twitter on Sunday, and he's already used the social networking site to have a pop at former club Arsenal.

Within 12 hours of joining the site the Chelsea defender replied to taunts from Arsenal fans, among them Piers Morgan, by boasting about the number of trophies he has won since leaving the Emirates for Stamford Bridge in 2006.

He also used the site to interact with football friends Wayne Rooney, Joleon Lescott and Nigel de Jong, and tweeted a photo of Chelsea stretching in Central Park earlier on Sunday.
