Chelsea star Ballack yet to hear from Boateng since tackle

Chelsea crock Michael Ballack says he's yet to receive an apology from Portsmouth's Kevin-Prince Boateng over his World Cup-ending tackle.

Boateng's brutal FA Cup Final challenge ruptured Ballack's ankle ligaments and put him out for at least two months.

The Portsmouth midfielder has spoken of his remorse but has yet to contact Ballack directly.

"Boateng has not been in touch," Ballack told the News of the World.

"He apologised in public because he got a lot of pressure from the press.

"It would be a normal reaction if you have put somebody out - whether on purpose or not. It should be normal, but he hasn't been in touch."
