Manchester United are reopening negotiations with Chelsea as they look to secure Mason Mount.

The England attacking midfielder is a huge target for coach Erik ten Hag this summer.

The Dutchman wants to play Mount as a no.8 in midfield alongside Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro.

Per The Mail, United's offer of £55 million will not materially rise, but they will negotiate the terms of payments with Chelsea.

More of the money may come up front, while nearly all of the fee will likely be guaranteed.

Chelsea do want more for Mount, but are aware that his contract is expiring at the end of next season.
