Chelsea have made a new offer for Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery.

The Sunday Mirror says Chelsea have tabled a last-ditch British record £40million for Ribery.

The Blues made their move for Bayern Munich's 26-year-old Frenchman last week. But they were told in no uncertain terms the offer was unacceptable and the player was not for sale.
