Chelsea captain John Terry has taken delight in welcoming the clubs new players to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have brought in Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku and the last-minute signing of Raul Meireles from Liverpool this summer and the defender is thrilled with the business the Southwest Londoners have done.
"I was, it was very late," he told Sky Sports News of the Meireles deal.
"He's a very good player. Obviously Andre (Villas-Boas) has coached him before (at Porto). We missed out on (Luka) Modric but he plays a very similar role.
"I'm very excited with what's happening and the players we've brought in so far at Chelsea. "
