Chelsea captain John Terry is upbeat about making a quickfire first team return.
The England defender has not played since suffering a foot injury during the Blues' defeat to Arsenal in December, but the 27-year-old is confident he will be back soon.
Terry said: "I did a full training session with the reserves today and two light ones the two previous days with the first team.
"I joined in a little bit with the reserves and no reaction so far so I'm very pleased.
"Fitness-wise I'm probably a week to 10 days away. If I can get a good week's training under my belt maybe the weekend is a small possibility I think."
