Chelsea skipper Terry admits sleepless nights after getting back England captaincy

Chelsea skipper John Terry admits his return to the England squad as captain gave him sleepless nights.

Terry concedes he was nervous about how his teammates would accept the decision.

"I had the worst night's sleep ever," revealed Terry.

"I was pretty nervous, guys, to be honest. Coming out today and having to deal with the questions and stuff like that was like the first day back at school.

"It is an intimidating thing, even though I have been in this position many times before.

"I am not daft. If we beat Wales on Saturday it will be a great stepping stone for us.

"If we don't get the right result, I know where the fingers will be pointing.

"I am not silly. I am a grown man and I am prepared to deal with that."
