Chelsea have joined a host of clubs interested in Darwin Nunez.
The Benfica striker has attracted onlookers with his 31 goals in 36 appearances this season.
Manchester United, PSG, Arsenal and West Ham United have all been linked with the Uruguayan.
The Athleticsays Chelsea are also considering Nunez, but not necessarily as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
Belgium international Lukaku has struggled at Stamford Bridge since arriving from Inter Milan last summer.
The report claims Chelsea could pair Lukaku with 22-year-old Nunez, who thrives playing alongside a strike partner.
Nunez is reportedly rated at £59m, although Benfica could earn more if a bidding war ensues.
