Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku could be out for a lot longer than fans had expected.

The French attacker is one of the key arrivals that manager Mauricio Pochettino is counting on this term.

However, Alex Goldberg states that Nkunku has a knee issue that is not yet resolved.

The forward could be out for at least a couple of months with injury, which rules him out for the Premier League start.

Nkunku arrived in the summer from RB Leipzig, having missed most of last season with a long term injury.

The club will be hoping that his issue is not one that becomes a recurring problem, given the big money they spent on him.
