Chelsea's Terry: No issue with me being England captain

John Terry insists there are no issues with him being reinstated as captain of the England national team. The Chelsea centre-back will lead the Three Lions into battle in Saturday's Euro2012 qualifier against Wales in Cardiff for the first time since he was stripped of the honour about a year ago.

Terry has been reinstalled in the job by England boss Fabio Capello who has decided to relinquish Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand of the armband.

And Terry said that nobody had even batted an eye lid after the decision was made official.

"None of the squad have a problem with me being England captain," said Terry.

The 30-year old will be making his 67th international appearance at senior level when the Three Lions strive to maintain their unbeaten record in qualifying when they take on the winless Welsh team at Millennium Stadium.
