Chelsea's Di Matteo to return to Italy full of pride

Roberto Di Matteo says he will head back to his homeland of Italy with a sense of pride with what he has achieved with Chelsea.

The Blues boss, who led the club to the Champions League title last season, takes his side to Turin on Tuesday to take on Juventus in the group stage of Europe's premier club competition and he is looking forward to again showing the football community what his players can do.

"I'm proud to have led this club to that trophy," the Swiss-born former Italy international said.

"Wherever we go, it's a moment where we are a good club. We've shown it and we have to show it again."

Chelsea sit on top of the Group E table after four Champions League matches and find themselves equal with Shakhtar Donetsk on seven points and one ahead of Juve with Danish outfit Nordsjaelland essentially out of the competition on one solitary point.
