Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho has cooled any talks of joining Inter Milan.

The Portuguese international has been linked with a move to the Serie A club to reunite with former boss Jose Mourinho after a season of injuries but he has revealed he is happy at Stamford Bridge.

"I only think about returning stronger next season at Chelsea," said Carvalho.

"This season has not been positive for me due to injuries. Now I am working to recuperate and return at the best level next season.

"I want to improve because I am not happy with this year on a personal level."
