Chelsea face a battle to land Ajax fullback Gregory van der Wiel. The Daily Express says Chelsea will have to wait on Real Madrid before making a move for Ajax defender Van der Wiel.

The Stamford Bridge side are thought to be targeting the 24-year-old right-back again this summer, having tracked him over the past few transfer windows.

But any move by the Champions League winners for the Dutch international is likely to be dependent on whether Madrid step up their interest in Branislav Ivanovic.

If the Spanish champions decide against a bid for the Serbian, they are likely to switch their sights to Van der Wiel as well.
