Chelsea are ready to enter new contract talks with David Luiz.

The Sun says the Brazilian, 31, forced his way back into favour under Maurizio Sarri after being frozen out last term.

Now the Blues want his future secured with a fresh £125,000-a-week contract extension.

Luiz's current deal expires in the summer and he could leave for free.

But he is expected to get at least TWO more years at Stamford Bridge.

The defender fell out with previous boss Antonio Conte and in the second half of last season he did not play after February.
