Chelsea are very eager to talk with Sporting CP about doing a deal for defender Ousmane Diomande.
The 20-year-old Ivory Coast international is rated as a major prospect by top clubs around Europe.
Sporting are willing to talk, but will not agree to sell for a fee that is less than his full £69 million release clause, per The Standard.
Diomande is an ever-present for the Portuguese giants, while he is wanted by several top teams.
Chelsea already have Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi, Wesley Fofana, Trevoh Chalobah and Thiago Silva in their first team squad.
However, they are said to want yet another central defender for boss Mauricio Pochettino.
