Chelsea pull out of talks for Leeds midfielder Adams

Chelsea have put to bed the chance to sign Tyler Adams from Leeds United this summer.

The US international thought he was moving to the Stamford Bridge club in the coming days.

However, Chelsea have pulled out from the deal after initially agreeing to pay his £20 million relegation release clause.

Per The Athletic, Adams is heading back to Yorkshire and Leeds, while Chelsea work on signing Moises Caicedo.

The club are ready to outbid Liverpool and secure the player they have been chasing all summer.

Given Caicedo will cost £110 million at minimum, the club cannot afford to sign Adams as well.
