Chelsea players not speaking about Conte rumours - Terry

Italy national coach Antonio Conte has been strongly linked with the Chelsea job recently.

However, club skipper John Terry has revealed that Conte's potential arrival at Stamford Bridge has not been a topic of discussion among the players.

It has been reported that owner Roman Abramovich has told the playing group Conte will replace Guus Hiddink in the summer but Terry insists nothing of the like has been touched on by the players themselves.

"[Conte to Chelsea has] not been spoken about within the squad," Terry told talkSPORT at the London Football Awards on Thursday.

"That's the club's and the owner's decision, to see who the next manager is.

"It's not for the players to talk about, we are about the here and now and to climb the table."
