Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will be in California today for talks with John Terry.
The Sun says Abramovich missed Carlo Ancelotti's first match in charge in Seattle last weekend.
But he is due in Pasadena for the game against Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan this evening.
Abramovich plans to meet with skipper Terry to try to settle the defender's future.
With Manchester City planning to up their bid to £38million for the England captain, Abramovich will seek assurances from Terry about his intentions.
Chelsea do not want to sell and say JT will have to ask for a transfer to force the issue.
