Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount was delighted seeing action for their preseason friendly win against Club America.

Mount came off the bench to score in the 2-1 win in Las Vegas.

He told the club's website: "They're a top team and they worked so hard.

"They made us run made us play to the best if our ability so we're obviously very happy to come out with the win and put on a show for all these fans.

"I just want to say thank you to them for coming out. It's been a brilliant week training here in the US and the fans have been unbelievable.

"You can see how many turned out today to support us. It's brilliant to see and we love being here."

Of his goal, Mount added: "When I hit the ball and looked up, I was obviously very happy that it went in.

"We got the second goal and we got the win but the most important thing today was really working at our off the ball stuff, our physical ability to run, and I thought we did that."
