Chelsea midfielder Kante dominates: But Leeds draw fair result

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante admits Leeds United pushed them all the way on Saturday.

Chelsea settled for a point at Elland Road in their 0-0 draw.

"It was a hard game," said Kante to the club's website. "There was a lot of intensity and chances for both sides so in the end I think it was a fair result.

"It's one point for us and we need to appreciate that because it could have been worse. When you cannot win, at least to take one point is something good because it can help for the future.

"We're still unbeaten and we didn't concede again so we need to look forward now."

Covering more distance than anyone, no player had more touches, passes or dribbles than Kante on the day.

"We could feel at the end that it was an intense game," he admitted. "We had a lot of runs to drive the ball forward and to defend the opponent because they have this ability to run a lot and play with intensity.

"We were ready for it and we did a good game. We wanted to score but they defended very well. We need to get better at this but it's a focus for the whole team."
