Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun wants to sign permanently for Arsenal.

The Israeli is currently on a season-long loan with the Gunners.

He told Arsenal Player: "Of course, I think any player would want to do that. But, for me, the main thing is concentrating on having a good season and trying to take this opportunity with both hands. I'm sure, if I do well, the connection will continue together.

"In some countries 31 is a bit old but in England it is the height of your career and you still have lot of years in front of you. Look at Lampard and Gerrard who are about the same age."
