Racing Santander starlet Sergio Canales is attracting interest from both Chelsea and Manchester United.

The 18-year old attacking midfielder has been impressing with his recent performances in Spain's La Liga and is tipped for big things, including representing Spain at the World Cup this year.

His contract ends this summer so he is free to speak to any club and the Blues and Red Devils have already sought out his father to try and win the signature of the Santander native.

Real Madrid are believed to have offered Racing around £8million to keep the youngster in his homeland which would allow him to remain in Santander as Madrid would send him straight back on loan.

Reports suggest that Canales is interested in a move to the Premier League meaning Chelsea and United may have further competition from the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Aston Villa.
