The race for Boca Juniors fullback Valentin Barca remains wide open.

A move to England in January has been mooted for the Argentine youngster.

Barco is expected to leave Boca in January after the Copa Libertadores final against Fluminense next week.

Chelsea and Manchester City are both in contact with Boca about a fee for the left-back.

The 19 year-old's deal expires next year and Boca are said to be seeking £10m or more to sell.
