Chelsea are making a new move for sporting director Tim Steidten.
Steidten is available after leaving Bayer Leverkusen, reports Foot Mercato, and Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is keen to add him to their football staff.
Boehly made an attempt for Steidten at the beginning of the season and is set to try again.
AS Monaco have also been linked, though talks are yet to kickoff.
At Bayer, Steidten oversaw the signings of Piero Hincapié, Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Edmond Tapsoba and Moussa Diaby.
