Chelsea want to keep hold of Michy Batshuayi beyond January.

The Guardian says Chelsea will resist attempts by rival clubs to secure Batshuayi on loan next month.

The Belgium forward is preparing to make his first Premier League start for the leaders, deputising for the suspended Diego Costa when Bournemouth visit Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.

West Ham are believed to have enquired about the 23-year-old availability in January, but Antonio Conte is understood to view Batshuayi as key to his side's title charge.
