Chelsea are happy for Gonzalo Higuain to return to parent club Juventus.
The Sun says Chelsea have given Higuain their blessing to follow Maurizio Sarri back to Serie A.
And if Sarri does succeed Max Allegri in Turin, it's suggested Higuain will be given a second chance at the Serie A champions.
However, the report adds that the potential switch is being held up by Chelsea demanding Sarri's £5.3m release clause is met by Juventus.
It was reported that Chelsea paid a £7.9m loan fee Higuain for his initial six months at the club.
They then had the option to extend his loan by another year this summer for £15.8m or buy him for £32m.
But the Blues have not seen enough end product to justify further outlay on Higuain, 31.
