Chelsea make English history with Champions League win against Lille

Chelsea have made English football history with their Champions League win against Lille.

The Blues are in the driving seat of their last-16 tie with Lille having won the first leg 2-0 on Tuesday night courtesy of goals from Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic.

And by keeping a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge, Thomas Tuchel's side became the first English team in either the Champions League or European Cup to win five home games in a row without conceding a goal.

Their run dates back to last season when they beat Real Madrid 2-0 in the semi-final second leg to advance 3-1 on aggregate.
