Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is being tipped to hang up the boots.

The Daily Mail says Lampard may have played his last game for New York City following their play-off defeat. He could still sign for another year, join another MLS club or go to China.

But the smart money is on Lampard ending his illustrious playing career and following cousin Jamie Redknapp into TV football in the new year, after impressing with his occasional pundit roles.

Sky Sports has long been seen as the likely new home for Lampard but there are no obvious vacancies - which opens the door for other TV networks to sign him up.
