Manchester United are sudden favourites to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Chelsea had held several rounds of talks with Inter for the goalkeeper, but have now ended their interest, says the London Evening Standard.
The decision leaves United a clear run at Onana, who is available from Inter despite only joining in a Bosman transfer from Ajax a year ago.
United manager Erik ten Hag knows Onana well and could bring him to Old Trafford to succeed David de Gea.
De Gea is yet to accept new terms as his current deal runs down this month.
